Mixed Materials Frame: Vinyl with Steel & Aluminum Reinforcement
The strength of steel/aluminum, coupled with a low-maintenance vinyl exterior. Vinyl provides superior insulation as compared to aluminum, adding higher energy efficiency to this framing option. Cost is typically less than an all-aluminum option.
All-Aluminum Frame
This 100% aluminum frame offers great durability and weather resistance. Since aluminum conducts heat these frames include thermal breaks to prevent heat transfer/condensation. Powder coated for a fade-free finish, an all-aluminum frame may require higher maintenance than a mixed materials frame. Available in slim, modern-looking profiles.
